The Arabian Sea water is pumped from the sea into the salt fields. Salt fields are designed in such a way that is best suited for higher evaporation and radiation, in order to produce the best quality salt and also to maintain international standards.
The brine procured from seawater through condensing is collected and fed into the crystalliser, which goes through processing and further concentration.
The salt in the Nacl form undergoes harvesting converting the salt into crystals.
The salt crystals undergo cleansing in the washery. Quality checks are carried out periodically to ensure the desired quality of salt is maintained.
Quality is checked from the beginning to the completion of process at different stages continuously to maintain the required quality. Also before shipment is done a random sample is drawn from the stock pile.

Bulk heaps of salt are stacked after production and are kept ready for despatch.
The final grade of salt is loaded into these trucks to be despatched to the port.
